Radiologists typically earn around $353,960 per year in the U.S., providing analysis and interpretations of medical images to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They work in Specialized ComputerizedTomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Mammography centres, as well as in hospitals and private practices. "To become a Radiologist, you'll need an appropriate degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Medicine, or a similar field. Alternatively, you could go through a degree apprenticeship. To earn more as a Radiologist, you could move into a specialised area, such as Vascular Radiology or become a manager within a radiography or medical imaging business. You could also become self-employed or help to set up your own Radiology practice."
