How to earn more as a Psychiatrist
To become a Psychiatrist, you will need to complete a medical degree and undertake a period of specialty training in psychiatry. Then you can qualify in the field, and become a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. To progress your career further, you may wish to become a consultant psychiatrist or psychotherapist, or enrol on further training in a specialist field such as child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry or psychopharmacology. Alternatively, you could set up your own practice or become a consultant to private healthcare providers.
