"If you want to become a Historian, you will need to have at least a Bachelor's degree in History, Archaeology or a related field. You may also be able to gain an entry-level position with an Associate's degree. To increase your earning potential, you can pursue a Doctorate or specialize in a particular period or area of study. You could also consider becoming a professor at a college or university, or establishing yourself as a freelance Historian or researcher."
